"Does things my more expensive handheld units can't. I bought this to troubleshoot an ABS and a BSD error on my Hyundai Sonata. It identified faults in my ABS wheel speed sensors. I didn’t know they could be related until I did some research. Sure enough, replacing my rear wheel speed sensors cleared up my ABS and BSD errors."
"I’m gonna have to say that my INNOVA part number 5310 automotive scan tool is flipping amazing...God bless whoever came up with this tool and made it a lot easier for the do it yourself mechanic to further educate and nevertheless making the mechanics life easier thank you very much and I will highly recommend this to everybody."
"This is quite possibly the greatest app to have ever apped. I'm not just saying that because a pocket scan tool gives me a tech boner. This app is extremely well designed and developed. It looks good. It loads fast. The interface is easy to use and understand. Dummy-proof step-by-step connecting. Automatic and full system scans. Solutions simply explained. It tells me what to buy, !gives me a part number! And gives me a source to buy the item. I can go on all day."
"This is the perfect tool for bridging the gap between Mechanic and Technician. When servicing today's vehicles you need to be both, and this tool goes a long way in providing the needed technical information required to do a proper repair. I would recommend to any small shop or DIY'er serious about their vehicle service."

"Great scanner for the money, has many features that others do not . There are literally hundreds of scanners on the market. All with many different options and features. I searched for weeks and finally came across this product that offers the most needed functions to properly diagnose a problem with a low cost scan tool. In comparison to the top of the line 4K , 5K dealer level scan tools this product is top notch for my needs and I have been a mechanic for 34 years....."
"This scanner correctly identified several dtc's on my vehicle including engine codes, faulty tpms sensors, and srs codes. Paired with the app, all information was sent and stored to my phone. I was able to quickly pinpoint the problem, while eliminating any guess work. CEL, TPMS, and SRS all verified fixes. This tool is affordable, user friendly, all updates are free, and it's made in the USA. Highly recommend. (Used on 2009 Chevy Colorado 3.7)...👍"
"Amazing how far handheld obd readers have come. The unit bridges the gap between the expensive subscription based professional mechanic tablets and the basic code readers. You’re able to read live data and updates are free on the unit."
"This scan tool will allow you to scan your automobile for any codes that may occur. It allows you to easily erase them and comes with a comprehensive book that explains everything that the tool can do as well as explains details on the various codes. Innova also provides free updates. It is a very advanced tool and covers many issues that a car might need to diagnose and fix a problem. Buy this if you want on the market today."

"Needed a scanner to detect ABS defects. Found much more. The 5610 detects all codes and gives solutions in an app. Also love the live data. Wha a great find. The Autel is very hard to learn. Not this one. You won't regret the purchase."
"This unit was a huge help in getting my 2001 Corolla to pass Calif smog test. It will do a global scan for codes, in my case a P0171 vacuum leak, then allow you to monitor real-time data to look at your fuel trims. It helped me identify my intake manifold as the issue. After replacing the part, then I was able to identify the car was test-ready after doing the drive-cycle (by signaling green for the seven tests for evap, cat, O2 sensor, etc). Also, a big bonus for an obscure control I needed for my 2001 BMW 330i-- it has a steering angle reset function-- which is a very hard to find on a hand-held scanner. I had to use a computer based program for setting that in the past. It's so convenient now to be able to set that sensor now!"
"I bought this so i could start working on newer cars. my daily drivers are 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee and a 2015 Wrangler Rubicon Hard Rock Edition. I was able to clear 4 DTC code on my radio (B1430) that the dealer didn't clear when i had the hard drive in the radio replaced. very easy to do and it worked great. I have a friend with a 08 Nissan that has an engine MIL on. I am going to work on it next week. we will see how it goes. but so far i am optimistic."
"For broader diagnostic capabilities, the Innova 5610 stands out with impressive testing features, bi-directional control, and added diagnostic suggestions."
"The Innova 6100P is the kind of OBD-II scanner that will add a professional feel to any amateur mechanic job. That's certainly how we felt during our testing, anyway."
"The CarScan Advisor 5110 is simple to operate and automatically reads codes as soon as it is plugged in. It’s a good pick if you want a no-frills code reader."
"For an OBD-II scanner with a wider range of diagnostic capabilities, we were impressed by the testing functions, bidirectional control and additional diagnostic suggestions of the Innova 5610."
"I'll keep it simple. I've had several scan tools, even larger wireless ones. This one does way more and super easy to use. I like how you can put batteries in it and go back on it to look at things. It has a nice screen and the cable comes off so if ever damaged it can be replaced. All in all great product!"

"The check engine light came on on my 2012 F series 6.7 power stroke, I own an older less expensive scan tool that showed no codes, I hate paying someone to do something that I can do myself so I purchased this code reader, it immediately retrieved two permanent codes for EGT then told me the location of the sensors, after replacing them and completing the necessary drive cycles the codes vanished, this tool has many features that I haven’t used yet but will definitely be useful when needed."
"Owning a diesel truck means lots of sensors to check, EGR system and exhaust filter. Truck was seeing an error, scanner showed none. Did a forced Regen ($600 at dealer), problem cleared before cycle completed. New exhaust filter $1,200 and install fees around $2,200. Almost three grand saved."
"It’s quick, it’s bidirectional, it has the most functions you can get short of a $1k scanner. It self reads vin & green light a slew of system scans. If one is red you follow it. If you’re connected to the web it will send a report if not it still performs functions. I choose this based on a recommendation from Scotty Kilmer. An old mechanic who does YouTube DIY videos. The manufacturer site contains self help videos that are more than I’ll ever need. Good product for the DIYer who doesn’t want to buy another scanner the next time you fix something in your driveway."
"Plugged it in 2010 chevy traverse and got comfortable with the 5610's controls, easy to navigate features, had fun turning cooling fans on to test the bi-directional controls, scans pretty quick, does what it says it can do. No complaints so far."

"Actually I had low expectations when I decided to purchase this scanner. I just wanted to confirm that my cars were likely to pass their emissions tests without creating a hassle for me this year. After only limited experimentation with this Innova 5610 OBD2 scanner I can already tell how helpful it will be as I become more experienced in it's use and with it's capabilities. Startup was a cinch and Innova supplies plenty of information about the device on it's web site. All three vehicles passed after checking them out with the scanner to confirm there were no obvious deficiencies which this device did easily and with flying colors."
"Needed an OBD2 scanner to allow for ABS Bleeding of brakes on 2015 RAM 3500. Used Innova "Coverage Checker" to confirm it's supported; it was. Performed brake bleed no problem, saved cost of tool compared to taking it to the dealer! Works great for scanning for DTC's on my other vehicles, cleared code in 2000 Dodge Neon, nice tool."
Pretty easy to use and connects via Bluetooth to an iPad, so the scan results are stored and can be reviewed and compared with later results for testing. Very comprehensive. My situation was that I was getting ABS failure warnings which escalated to Parking Brake failure warnings and traction control failure warnings. My local garage couldn’t track it down, and since the codes were transient (spontaneously they went away, then came back), a standard code reader wasn’t getting them. Long story short, the transient codes ARE stored but a standard OBDII reader wasn’t able to get them. This reader did and it was failed speed sensors on the rear wheels: $70 in parts and 30 minutes of my time and it’s done!
"For the price the options and the supporting software are well worth it. I am impressed with the ease of operation and the information from the Repair Solutions 2 software...This is a good tool for a retired Master Automotive Technician like me that does not need to have thousands of dollars tied up in a scan tool to keep the family vehicles running down the road..."

"We do long 5-6000 mile road trips every summer. I’ve always a just taken the scanner from work when I go. Now I can have piece of mind knowing this is just in the truck incase I need it. Once you download the app it sends the report from whatever vehicle it’s plugged into to your phone and tells you the most common causes and a link to the part needed to fix the issue. Super handy. Perfect gift for every husband / boyfriend. Super easy to use. Even tells you what’s next for recommended maintenance on your vehicle so you know what to expect next time you take it in or doing the work yourself."
"As the title says, should have bought this scan tool the first time. Was really pleased at all the modules it was able to scan and find codes in them on my 2018 ford fusion hybrid. Really like that it has the functional test so you can command certain solenoids on and off. Overall I would defiantly recommend this as to someone looking to do more than just read codes. It’s not a snap on scan tool or an auto manufacturer computer by any means, but it is defiantly worth it for a beginning tech who doesn’t want to break the bank."
"With all the new cars having hundreds of computer chips in them I bought the 5610 as a tool to help diagnose problems I may get in the future. It's better to have the Scant Tool now and ready to use instead of needing it and not having it and not knowing what wrong with your car. I connected the 5610 to my Ford Ranger and Subaru Crosstrek to check connectivity and had no error codes (which I already knew) but was able run some interactive tests. My 5610 came with the latest updates. I downloaded and printed out the owner's manual because you do need it to get familiar with the operation of the unit. I am happy with the purchase."
